As an intermediary between industry and healthcare professionals, we provide a barrier between the two, with the intent of reducing the risk of kickbacks or inducements. BESPA joins industry and physicians based solely on the qualifications necessary to execute a specified project. By limiting the interaction between industry and physicians to such specified projects, companies receive a built-in layer of protection.

Our surgeons undergo an extensive due diligence process that is updated annually. Our due diligence includes OIG background checks, state licensure checks, and existing industry contract reviews, to name a few. We provide full transparency to all our partners with regard to physicians’ existing industry contracts, contractual obligations and non-competes.

Training is required in order for physicians to participate in our network. All surgeons are required to complete mandatory training which includes an understanding of Advamed guidelines, as well as global anti-corruption, anti-bribery and anti-kickback laws and statutes. Physicians must sign off on our global ethics and compliance policies which are made available to contracted Medical Companies.

BESPA GLOBAL is available to assist contracted Medical Companies with Sunshine Act reporting requirements. Reports can be pulled from our system, or custom reports are available upon request. Sunshine Act reporting disputes are handled through our team first, as many disputes can be resolved before coming to the attention of the Medical Company. Our ability to monitor physician payments helps resolve any preliminary concerns physicians may raise.

BESPA GLOBAL provides all contracted Medical Companies with access to our portal system for review of contracts, physicians, invoices, payments and much more.
